The Clay Spot is the place to go to paint your own pottery. There are the usual pottery options to choose from such as bowls, cups and plates.
Plus, seasonal décor like birds, bunnies, flowers, gnomes and more are always making new appearances at The Clay Spot. Sometimes wood crafts such as door hangers are also available to paint and decorate.
Upcoming events
Special events like Late Night Paint as well as summer camps keep things inspired at The Clay Spot Albany. In fact, now is the time to get fired up and make your plans to attend one of these creative camps!
- “Harry Potter—y,” June 13th-16th: Leave the mixed-up muggle world behind and enter a wizardry realm of imagination! There will be wand making, door hangers, clay pottery, canvas painting and more.
- “Mixed Media Mayhem,” June 27th-30th: Get ready to try your hand using a variety of mediums. Make collages, clay hand building, pottery painting, wood burning resin and much more!
- “Sweets & Treats,” July 11th-14th: This is going to be sweet! There will be pottery painting and making, treat decorating, wood art and other sweet activities.
Each summer camp has two daily sessions. First up is the 9 a.m. to noon sessions for children ages 7 to 10 years old. Next is the 1 to 5 p.m. sessions for children ages 11 and older. Camp prices range from $75 to $100.
