About US 19 Dragway
In case you aren’t familiar with the well-known South Georgia racetrack, US 19 Dragway came under new ownership in the fall of 2021.
By March 2022, SoGA Entertainment and Racing Corporation was working hard to transform the racetrack into a year-round outdoor entertainment venue.
Now when you visit US 19 Dragway in Albany, you will find more than just the 1/8-mile concrete track. In fact, there is new outdoor stage as well as new indoor and outdoor recreational game areas.
Take a ride in a go-kart, or shoot some hoops, for example. Enjoy some refreshments from the enclosed lounge-concession area.
Then cheer on your favorite racer or sing along at the next concert! US 19 Dragway hosts events ranging from ATV racing to live music to wrestling to drag racing.
A few upcoming events
Mark your calendars today for a few upcoming August events at the event venue. It’s a night of Southern Blues Sunday, August 14th, with performances by Pokey Bear, P2K Dadiddy and Badd Newz.
Gates open at 6 p.m., and the show starts at 8 p.m. Pack your chairs, coolers and bring your grills too. Click here to purchase tickets in advance.
Other upcoming events include Soul Music Under the Stars on Saturday, August 20th, from 5:30 to 8 p.m. The following Saturday, August 27th, will be the Motorcycle Series Fall Kickoff. Gates open at 1 p.m.
