About The Heart of Albany Festival

Returning for the sixth year is the Albany Museum of Art’s fall festival, but this time with a new name and location!

Formerly known as the AMA ChalkFest, this annual event has come back as The Heart of Albany Festival. And in addition, this year’s event will be at the Albany Museum of Art, located at 311 Meadowlark Drive.

Presented by Publix and the James M. Barnett, Jr. Foundation, The Heart of Albany Festival 2023 will take place on November 4th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Plus, admission is free!

So, what all will be at this year’s fall festival? Just like before, this festival will be full of art, entertainment, activities, food and libations.

At this event, you will get the chance to watch chalk artists create 50-square-foot and larger works of art on pavement, enjoy live music and indulge in a variety of food truck vendors.
